Mas Olivier range
BIB 3L Mas Olivier
Rosé
Origin
Mas Olivier cuvée outclasses Faugères appellation not only by its geographical location but also by its reputation. The terroir, facing south on platy mineral layers called “Schistes” soil, benefits from a Mediterranean climate and cool summer nights, ideal for the maturing of grapes.
Grapes
50% Grenache, 50% Cinsault.
Winemaking
This wine, successfully combining tradition and technology, is made from direct pressing and vinified at low temperature.
Food pairings
As an aperitif or accompanying grilled ’plancha’ fish or dishes with provençal vegetables. Also a perfect match with Asian and fusion food.
Tasting
A light raspberry colour. In the nose, the nice intensity of red fruits aromas is underlined by a fine mineral hint. With its round and fruity attack, it is a wine of great delicacy with a fresh finish on pink grapefruit notes.
